Yes. There are 3 bolts attaching to J nuts on the bumper. The 2 bolts attaching the tag will need to be removed to access the 3 bumper bolts.
So, 5 bolts when you want to hit the dirt? I get what you're doing, and for those who won't go off road it's fine. Just sayin', most of us that will actually go off road won't stop to unbolt the front license plate. Heck, we're spending thousands to not have to disconnect the sway bar. 😁

There actually aren't any predrilled holes... At least with the modular bumper.
Im definitely requesting that my dealer doesn't mount my front plate!
Been driving my modded Jeep as long as I've owned it with no front plate, in CA. No issues.

That would be awesome but it ain’t gonna work either.

Already brought up numerous times earlier in the thread. I merely posted that there are other choices for a front plate, not that they'd work or not.

Depends on where you live. My town I never had issues. Parked in SF on the street, meter paid, but I was the first car at the corner so you could see I didn't have a plate. Got a ticket. Fix it ticket but I still had a $125 fine. FYI...drove that car to SF many, many times with no issues.

Jeeps seem to get a pass on everything. WA tire coverage laws are strict yet there's Jeeps running around on full width 1 tons and no flares. Meanwhile in my Fords I've been stopped for no mud flaps and 1/2" of tire poke.

Live in PA and drive without doors and see what happens. I understand some counties are more doorless friendly than others though.
I'm gonna pass on that. I'm enjoying being door-free.

There’s a law about having mud flaps? Didn’t know that was even a thing.

Not specifically mud flaps, but the tire has to be covered front to back to a certain point and mud flaps is just how you get there when the body doesn't any more. It could vary state to state.

Which does make sense given how much money is wasted on windshields that wouldn’t otherwise need to be replaced every year

Utah has tons of rocks on freeways for some reason, and lots of lifted trucks to compensate for something. And the speed limit is 70 on the freeway even in town. I’ll be moving back up to Seattle in early ā€˜22. One benefit of too much traffic is not much speed ;)
