Finally Got a Build Date

I finally got my build date from Ford and it is 958 days from initial order to estimated build date. It is a Outer Banks with lots of extras and lists out at $52,345. I've been told no one has waited longer than me. I'm truly excited and have a huge list of add ons when it arrives.

I'm currently at 1137 days and I was built back on 8/7, should be to the dealer by September!

OP, hope you know I was just playing ... happy you're scheduled but you're not out of the woods yet!

Not sure, ran out of fingers and toes almost three years ago! But getting closer. Left Brookfield MO at 6:00 am today. Maybe Omaha by early next week?

@Derecho got it, if you want to go from original order date it's less but what's the fun in that? I'm an early day two reservation.

Have you kept the same order this whole time though? My original order was a BD with a mod top and then 99d until the HE came out which was just another mess to suffer through, add in the order was thru Granger and here I am.

Three years later and people still bring up "You couldn't order in July"

We are still fricken waiting!

Wow, so you've sat with the same order for three years at the same dealer? Who's your dealer? Did they have absolutely no allocations all this time?

This makes no sense to me, my delay was self-induced waiting for the mod top but if you were first day reservation with the same exact order and reordered year after year ... Wow!

My dealer is Kearny Mesa Ford. I probably should have change dealers but I'm old and getting lazy

Hi to a local guy. I inquired there but quickly went out of state. Congrats. I couldn't have waited anywhere close to that long.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am not selling my Tacoma yet as there appears that Ford will be on strike in a few weeks and even after it is settled there will more than likely be more delays.
