I'd think with the damn fine run in Baja he'd be able to pick up more sponsors. I know I'd kick in a few bucks if he had a go fund me. That kind of effort calls for support. I'd imagine the truck is calling for a pretty serious overhaul, meaning time and $$$$$$$.

I kicked in $300. That will fund a about 2/3 of a single KO3 AT that hopefully won't go flat. I wish I could give more. I've had fantasies about doing something like that. Ivan Stewart or Parnelli Jones blasting through the desert. The balls to actually do it with a rag-tag crew and survive the course with a running truck, unbelievable.

@pewpew_cachoo, from what I understand your are a avid BFG fan...but have you considered the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss? The are a hella heavy tire, but I'd imagine that would make for a much more stout tire. Saving one flat would probably more than offset the tire weight penalty. The Mickeys are certainly popular in the Bronco community...maybe there is a sponsorship opportunity there. I can't think of a better way for them to sell more tires to Bronco owners.

I am currently looking for a tire sponsorship actually. KO2's are. great tire but we need something a little more stout for handling Baja.
Problem is we have 9 wheels total so replacing all of them is... Expensive... lol

Will an OEM wheel still fit your truck? I wonder if some one in your hood might let you swap on a set for a little test run. Like I said, they are heavy, which I hope equates to being rugged. They might have a fuel penalty and screw with your suspension a bit, but man these things are certainly a nice tire. I have not had mine off road yet, but some of the peeps I have run with love them. Plus...you ARE the Class 3 Baja Boss!

We currently have a positive 30 offset wheel and it slightly rubs so we wouldn't be able to go any more positive that that... Would love to try them, but like I said... Tires are expensive lol
