I hope someone’s poor choice of swimwear didn’t ruin it for you.

No worries. He is on St. Augustine Beach. I prefer Porpoise Point. He is marked safe from Sungas.

What GOAT mode did you try? I did a day at OBX and tried a few out in the sand…which ironically, sand mode was the worst one. I found 4hi to be the best personally. I also noticed quite a bit of weird pedal response and steering feedback in all modes…particularly in the softer sand. Any thoughts on your experience?

4Hi is perfect. I even used Normal mode without issue. Sand mode had the rpm at 2.1 with the rear locker engaged. I found no reason to keep it in Sand as 4H worked fine with way less motor effort.

Now I’m not a super skilled off-roader but I do get out there every now and again but in my experience, the goat modes are kind of gimmicky. 4hi, 4lo, and lockers is all I really need.
