OK, totally new to this forum as well as the Bronco in general. My daughter has her mind set(as well as a big downpayment saved)on a new bronco. Her build is a white bronco outerbanks with the black apperance package. Looks like msrp is about 54k including the destination and acquisition fees. What kind of discouts and percent off should I be looking at? Looking to do this around September. We are in the St pete area.

DO NOT BUY AN OUTERBANKS WITH THE BLACK APPEARANCE PACKAGE.....
Outerbanks is a $7,000 higher trim because they paint match the fender flares, door handles and mirrors from the standard black color of the Big Bend. Then you pay $1,000 more to return to the black plastic pieces just like the Big Bend??? That is a Marketing Genius move that Ford did.

I think she’s much better off looking for existing stock than ordering one. Last I looked there were a lot of white Outer Banks Broncos sitting on dealer lots. Wait for Ford to announce the 2026 Broncos, then offer $10,000-$15,000 below MSRP on a 2025 Bronco she likes. The worst that can happen is they say no.

World Ford in Pensacola advertises discounts in the $5000-$11000 off range and I’ve seen them as high as $15,000 off (2024 MY). So dealers can sell Broncos that low when they really want to.

Well what would be the best option for her to get the outerbanks line with the black rims etc?

Those wheels are just the old Black Diamond optional wheels or the current Big Bend with Black Diamond package wheels.

You can pick them up on FB Marketplace cheap. Those wheels do have some caveats in that they are a +55 offset which will limit the tire width before rubbing on the UCA is encountered.

But like @Bikeric said, the Black Appearance package on the OBX is a downgrade with a higher cost.

It's funny you mention World Ford in Pensacola. That dealership is about a mile away from my home; I literally drive right past it everyday going anywhere. I stopped by there and test drove several Broncos over the course of months, talking to different sales people. Every single one of them wanted to charge well above the MSRP on any vehicle. Even when the "employee pricing" started in the spring, one sales guy there said, "People come in here thinking all the Fords are on sale, but they're not. That just means we're removing a couple of the other markups (ADP) that you would typically see. But you're still looking at about five grand over the sticker out the door."

I ended up driving to Mobile, Alabama, 65 miles away to buy my Bronco. I got a new 2024 Outer Banks for $48k (sticker price was $56k at the time). I'm still burned about having to go out of state for my Bronco.

I like that Brandon Ford in Tampa posts inventory details and price on line. Their dealer fees however appear to be pretty steep. Perhaps 🤔

Brandon Ford in Tampa usually has a big inventory and was heavily discounting Bronc’s last time I looked. It does appear they have some hefty dealer fees however, prepare to negotiate an “out the door” price. I’m in NW Florida, when I ordered my early reservation Big Bend in 2022 local dealers were all thousands over MSRP. I went to central Alabama to Town & Country Ford in Bessemer. I paid sticker (a decent deal at the time) with no fees other than the tag and registration charges which were under $100 bucks. More importantly they treated me well and kept me apprised of where my car was in the production process. It’s a hike from St Pete but I’ll give them a shot at my next Ford purchase and see how competitive they are then.

The Big Bend with Black Appearance package and added automatic transmission has those same wheels and the VERY NICE black painted hardtop for $48,195.

Thats definitely a option thanks. Is the outer banks option with black package even a thing that is seen ever? Didn't know if it would even be able to be located instead of a build order. She'saying outer banks has more options that come with it as far as upgrades and tech? Girls, uhhh......

Literally just finished the order / build process for my 2025 outerbanks (getting shipped to the dealer this weekend). Happy to share some perspective for you.

First general piece of advice, get what you so your daughter loves it for a LONG time. Yes, if you can find it on the lot at a dealership down here, cool, do it. But if you can’t, just order it. I ordered mine in mid may and it’s getting in just 2 months later and it’s going to be EXACTLY what I want.

Second in the dealerships in this area - I live in palmetto and checked out all the dealers down here. Brandon ford was by far the WORST of all of them. Reps know nothing about the broncos and are paid to push a high volume of vehicles without actually getting you what you want. I ended up using bill Currie ford and they are amazing. If you want me to refer you to a rep there I will happily just private message me.

third - definitely do NOT do the black appearance package on an outerbanks. To the comments above, you basically will eliminate the paint matched fenders, handles, and other things that you should want to keep if you’re getting an OBX. If you want black rims you can easily buy those after market or even just go the frugal route and get the stock ones fully painted black.

Lastly on pricing - I am expecting to pay around 54 for my fully loaded OBX at the dealer next week. Thankfully, we have a Z-plan pin (direct family member who works for ford) so we may get some money off the MSRP, but I’m still expecting to come in around low 50s. TBH - if you are trying to save a buck my recommendation would be to find a used one that is like new. Prices may drop a bit later in the year on the 2025s once the 26 version is announced, but I doubt it will be by much.

good luck and welcome to the Bronco fam!

They both come with the Mid-package at those prices. The only difference I can obviously see is the BB has standard headlights/taillights which the OB has the "Signature" LED lighting and fog lights. The Black Appearance package makes the grills identical between the two. The ONLY other thing apart from that is the removable/replaceable trim stickers on the front fenders.

*I haven't referenced the Dealer Order Guide*

But doesn't the OBX come with leather/carpet as standard and the Big Bend have the MGV/washout as standard? I haven't kept up with the specifics for MY'25. But I'm sure the OBX cloth options that were standard are no longer and they only come with leather.

Oops, I stand corrected.
That's something I never look at, but you are correct based on the Build/Price online tool. BB has cloth and OB has leather trimmed vinyl and carpet.

Thanks for clearing that up. I could just as easily reference the DOG or B&P. I knew for MY'24 the BB was getting the MGV/washout. I guess Ford found enough cloth seats for the BB to clawback the MGV option.

For someone like us who are around here long enough, it still can get confusing. A new buyer has to have their head spinning trying to figure out the ever evolving options from year to year.

What about adding the Sasquatch package to the outer banks? She really wants the outer banks in white and I thought adding that package looked very good in that color. Besides the obvious tire/rim addition etc is this option a good bang for the buck on an outer banks? Will the ride experience get very different and loud? I see exterior wise it changes the fender flares to black but leaves mirrors etc same body color. Figured this combo gives her a more luxury feel inside and aggressive look outside? Anyone see this setup in person? Just trying to gather as much info as possible before taking her to dealer. Thx again!
