In 1917 President Woodrow Wilson approached Henry Ford about assisting the nation in the war effort by developing mass production methods for naval vessels to combat the threat of German U-boats.
By 1919, 60 Eagle boats had been launched.
Ultimately they came too late for the war and received marginal reviews at best.
Ford never was able to produce the number he planned, BUT he was able transform his industry to mass produce warships. This was transformational for the future of ship building.
In 2021 Ford can’t figure out how to make roofs for Broncos?
What the hell is going on?
