So I’d love to hear some ideas on how to utilize the front seat back MOLLE panels that will still allow for a passenger to be safe and comfortable in the rear.

Beyond that, where’s really the next place you’d add MOLLE panels and what would you put there?

I guess I’m just used to having some sort of container filled with whatever “stuff” I need for the circumstances, as opposed to mounting stuff in a nice and neat manner.

Overhead molle is pretty great. Fire extinguisher, both winch remotes, and radios mount up there nicely for quick, easy access. In the back we have soft shackles, first aid, air hose, and a dog sized gerbil feeder. Don’t have the seat panels though. Won’t be getting them. Also have them on the outside of the gullwings as rock sliders.

On a two door, Molle panels come in handy...
I am impressed at your level of organization!

Where did you find a dog-sized gerbil?

@bassist if you have rear seat passengers, the only things that will work are really flat items like knives. Even a small first aid kit/IFAK may be intrusive if the front seat passenger doesn't have their seat all the way forward.

My son would not be happy if I mounted a bunch of knives back there!

Given that I drive the Bronco to work, I don’t think my employer would either.

It is one of the features that just isn't practical if you have rear passengers. Nice idea in theory and much more practical for those who have rear-seat deletes.

Your employer might, if you worked for a knife manufacturer.

Sounds like a passenger problem to me 😁

Knee space on both sides. The front seat is adjusted forward just enough to fold the rear seat with the pouch in place.
