Fuel door latch pin broken

I searched all over to find the answer to my question, even the Ford parts sites but no luck so far, hopefully you all can help.
I noticed today when I went to get gas that the touch latch on the fuel door didn't work. I used one of my trim removal tools to open it and saw that the pin on the door is missing.
I'm sure it happened at the car wash this past weekend.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pin?

Are you talking about the pin with the rubber boot around it on the left in this pic?

I don't have the PN, but mine fell out the other day too but stayed inside the fuel door area. In case you need help putting it back on, the lip on the rubber boot goes onto the lip on the pin (shown in red), and then you put them into the fuel door and twist until it locks. Pliers can help twist it if you can't get a good grip.

In case you need help putting it back on, the lip on the rubber boot goes onto the lip on the pin (shown in red), and then you put them into the fuel door and twist until it locks. Pliers can help twist it if you can't get a good grip.

Would you believe the latch (purple part) that the pin catches is about $180! Looks like the pin only comes with the housing assembly? If it fell apart, see if the dealer will warranty it.

Update:
At the present time in order to get the pin you have to buy the whole fuel door housing, pictured in green above in BigHoof's reply.
I found it online for $80 at an online Ford parts store
PN# M2DZ-5427936-A
It does come with the inside latch mechanism which at least gives me a spare of one of those for whatever that's worth.

There is a vendor who is working on a replacement pin but it's not available yet:

I can believe $180.

Both of the seat back latches on my Mustang broke - the part that lets passengers in the back seat release the seat so that it folds forward. It's one piece of plastic with one other piece of metal inside and they were $75 each last time I checked. I'm doing without, since back seat passengers are so rare.
