Well, at least we’re not getting error messages for work out parts that aren’t even close to being worn out. Wife’s 2020
Mercedes has 99,140 miles and still on the same pads/rotors with nearly 50% of pad life left. Car threw a message saying to check the pads and call the dealership. Went into the app and found a setting that allows error messages for parts worn out before they are worn out. Turned that off, and the error message went away. Now, to those who just do what they’re told, on a car with 100k miles, the dealer would easily just say the brakes are worn out and need to be replaced for a cool $4,500. But to those who know, would take a look themselves and see that the pads are far from being worn out and there is no logical reason to replace any of them.
