Parked my bronco tonight, went inside, came back out 10 minutes later and the headlights, back lights, and interior lights were on. I checked to make sure I didn't subconsciously turn the headlights off of automatic and I didn't. I also made sure the Bronco wasn't on by pushing the start button (without clutch in) and everything on the dash lit up, pushed it again to turn it all off, got out, locked it with the fob and the headlights went out, but interiors would not.

I ended up starting it again, turned it off, and got out. As soon as I shut the door the headlights went out and the interiors faded off.

Anyone else experience this?

Did you have he fob in your pocket when you went inside the first time? I’ve had my Explorer fob actuate buttons that way.

No I left the key fob in the cupholder where it was when I started it to move it inside, which is what I normally do.

It's a base model so no proximity features as far as I know.

I had a similar glitch. When I looked at the headlight knob the selection indicator was blank. Switching from off, back to auto made the selector illuminate and it started functioning normal.

Our Bronco Sport does some weird stuff like this sometimes.. we’ll shut it off & lock it, but the DRLs stay on. Usually we have to start it back up and shut it off again to get them to stay off..

Not thrilled to hear the Bronco has similar quirks.

Sorry, not finding it now. Had to do with windshield wipers with a mind of their own. I posted maybe the chips we are waiting for are not so great, and someone else added it is probably the software and not the chips that have the problem. This is all making me yearn for the days of old when all the 'tools' in you car had their own simple switches and buttons.
