I get why these exist. And my pinch welds bother me (going to paint mine).

But to a non-B6G person, the two pictures would be like a "find the one difference" picture puzzle that no one would figure out.

The clean finished look does make an improvement but my concern is that it’s essentially a gutter to trap debris and hold water. Longevity rust problems?

Love the look but I have the same concern with these things. Seems like a situation where weatherproof, automotive double-sided tape on the back of it (in addition to bolting it on) would help seal out water/ debris. I guess that could be added easy enough but still not sure I'd risk it lol
