Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

100% agree with you both. That's why I removed my OBX SAS emblem and added the Basesquatch emblem......in addition to the '87-'91 retro badge which I like alot because it's very linear and goes with the lines of the Bronco better than the script.

Where did you get the extra squatch sticker?

the reason i changed the badging is basically to make it how i think it should of came from the factory. Also added a stripe for the same reason

Unpopular opinion: The bronco plastic fridge magnets made in China look tacky as hell. And before you say there are nice aluminum ones, it’s not just the material. It doesn’t go with the 6g design. And yes I think the OEM heritage edition models look completely weird in general too. It worked for the 60s bronco because it was a bronco designed in the 60s lol. I don’t put a lot of faith in people. We now have angry eyes bronco grills, fast and furious style headlights with flashing colors, and I’ve seen multiple 22” or higher wheels on a badlands so people never surprise me (I have no idea why it bugs me so much but it does but it’s all in good fun)

The 6g official badges I think look good I just wish they were beveled metal monochrome like the Jeep trail rated badges

I took them off my Badlands bc I don’t care if people know I have the BL and the script looks loads better!

Rmd garage has a nice badge with their custom fenders. It calls out the trim levels and uses the Bronco grille font. I just don't recall who currently is selling it.

I'll probably change mine out eventually but definitely not going with the Bronco Script that 95% of people decided is the best alternative.

Yes. Fishing line works well and there are many emblem removal tools on Amazon.

I’ve removed the emblems from most of my cars and trucks for decades. IMO the stickers on the Bronco look cheap and so do many of of the plastic aftermarket options. I would have ordered mine without the Bronco emblem on the front grill if it was an option. If someone else doesn’t know that I’m driving a Bronco or what trim it is, that’s ok.

They don't look all that amazing, and they're kind of pointless anyway. You can mix and match so many features. You can have a Big Bend, the lowest trim you can get with a badge on it, that has been optioned out to have more luxury features and more off-road capability than a Badlands with no options.
