Headlight Dilemma

When I set my alarm on my Bronco, the driver side headlight now stays on and the passenger side goes off. Typically both would stay on. Other than that both headlights work fine. Here is a video....anyone have any ideas? Its just damn annoying to me

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. Maybe it will reset it.

Any aftermarket lights anywhere? Mine did that and it was due to the aftermarket lights I had the dealer install. They charged me for the labor to fix it too. I held back bitching about it because I'm just happy my dealer still agrees to install aftermarket stuff and I don't want to start to ruin it for everyone else.

The fog lights are aftermarket. Might be the reason. I will try and mess with the plug harness that connects them to the headlights.

That's what my issue was. Fog lights - something with the wiring of course.

Mine was a bit different in that it would happen any time I would turn off the Bronco. The driver (iirc) light always stayed on for a long time (we talking like 10 times as long or more).

I am wondering than if it is the driver side light faulting then. I always thought both stayed on for a bit when you set the alarm...but maybe both are supposed to go off, and now the driver side headlight just stays on a bit longer.
