Wait at least another year, lots of weirdness, quirks, one-offs and miscellany occurring right now.

Just buy a used one off the lot… and save yourself years of worry.

Approach it like a game of Oregon Trail and you will be fine.

Sure you might get dysentery...or die fording a river (above max fording depth of course) as you dream about driving your lux Bronco in Willamette Valley's sunshine and rainbows in baja mode.

No big deal, you can always go back to Missouri and work with another wagon train master (dealer) and start the arduous journey again...and again...and again. Eventually you will get to the promised land. I think.
