Hey guys my wife and I started a YouTube channel called Horsin' Around to document our adventures with our 2021 Bronco as well as our Early Broncos ('70, '71 and several piles of parts), off-road adventures, upgrades, camping, towing, etc. We're just a couple of numbskulls and still getting the hang of video but we'd love it if you would check it out, let us know what you think, and if you find anything of value grace us with a Like and Subscribe :)

Here's Episode 1, where we went to the dealer in our '71 to pick up our '21 Base Bronco 2-Door:

In Episode 2 of Horsin' Around we introduce ourselves and our channel, do a walk-around of our '71 Bronco, Coco, and chat a little bit about the '21 and also our soon-to-be-gone 2015 Jeep Rubicon (hiss!!! hiss!!) LOL

In episode 3 of Horsin' Around we put the '21 Base Bronco up on the lift to check out her undercarriage, go over what it has and what it lacks under there, and speculate on how it will do off-road before we start building it up.

PLEASE Excuse the annoying AF music during the intro. I didn't realize just how aggravating it was until I had to hear it a few times myself and now I can't unhear that wretched tune so my apolgoies LOL.

When day did you pick up your Bronco? I didn't realize Ford was still shipping the old MIC top. BTW, congrats!

I’m sure there was some units mid-transport that are still arriving.

  • Reserved day one 7/13/20
  • Converted to order on 3/17/21 just before the deadline
  • Built on 7/19/21 and shipped a couple days later
  • Delivered to my dealer in CA on 8/11/21

The Bronco was built and shipped before Ford put the brakes on all MIC top shipments. We got the letter saying they would be replacing ours this fall sometime. Since 2-doors aren't available with soft tops from the factory yet they're going to be a little rare for a while.

Thanks! It's not exactly original. The Early Bronco Registry called their newsletter that for years (Bojack should probably be paying THEM royalties LOL), and more recently their column in Bronco Driver magazine. I thought it was a fitting name for a YouTube channel about couple of goofballs messing around with Broncos so I borrowed it :)

I take it your saleswoman didn't tell you about the break in period 😅

She actually tried to tell us Ford doesn't recommend a break-in period for these. Of course I know that's incorrect. But still, I couldn't resist :)

I'm actually surprised you were able to break em loose with the 2.3L. Sweet!

Well its got the one-tire-fire so...

Honestly though, that little thing is a bit of a rocket. We're going to drag race it against the '71 with the 5.8 SEFI. I think it can take it LOL. We'll film it for the yootoobs :)
