How do you get a loaner at the dealership?

I believe that when the dealer submits the warranty claim, Ford approves the warranty and covers the cost of the loaner vehicle.

It seems that this is the precise process the dealership should adhere to, unless they or the service advisor choose not to.

UPDATE
Dropped off my Bronco this morning and the service advisor got me a brand new F150 with 20 miles on the meter. The process was very swift, only needed to show my driver's license, insurance card, and credit card for the safety deposit.

This thing is SWEET. Everything feels way more luxurious and premium than my Bronco. It drives very smoothly and has way more power (3.5 V6 EcoBoost).

My dealer (where I purchased the truck) provides loaners. Never
Had a problem getting g one. Although, the service may be a week later given the limited supply of cars.
