My other kids were “in production” for like 9 months. I got my bronco production email today….how long does the line take? How many days do they let her sit outside? I see luxury cars like mercedes shipped with covers on them….will my broco get a cover when shes on the loud rickety train? If I go ti MAP…can I hold her?
An assembly line video from Ford would sure be cool…

You're the 1st that I know of getting this email, so please tell us how long every phase will take .... the rest of us will have a clue as to what to expect

From what I can tell, these emails are going out a few days ahead of your scheduled date. That's likely when the stampings are grouped and confirmed to be assembled in the body shop before heading over the tracks to final assembly. I'd guess you have about a week or so before production is complete.

Without OKTB issued, I'm guessing all the currently produced rigs will stay in the "In Production" phase since they can't yet ship to dealers for sale.

What is taking so long for this OKTB status? I would imagine manufacturers would have this prior to mass production starting, would they not? Maybe that’s not the case.

AFAIK locking the time sequencing for the closure lines was the last step. As of Friday it seemed like they had it figured out.

I'm assuming they'll run batches this week for final inspection and go from there with OKTB. It might be later, but I expect it this week based on what I'm hearing.

Usually 12-16 hours. But yours is scheduled to be built "sometime" this week. Could be today or Friday. Once your syn is activated it will show up as being built. It can wait at the yard up to a week before it gets loaded on the proper route.

Man, early day 2 and nothing, it going to suck (for me) when they start hitting the streets. I do my best not to be envious.

My kids took 9 months to produce as well! I wanted a boy first but was told they are late availability so I have 3 girls instead.

Keep your chin up. We only have build dates until July, and its only a few thousand units scheduled so far, with production ramping up. The next 'pulls' will likely dwarf the size of the current number of builds per week. Official numbers said that Bronco was in parity with Ranger for a 1:1 build right now (you should be able to find the post), ramping up to 7:1 Bronco to Ranger here shortly.

By the time these first vehicles are built and inspected, I doubt the people with early VINs will see their actual Bronco too much sooner than you.

Actual production numbers appear to be well less than 10K units scheduled to build so far with PLENTY more to come.

It's that Bossier City water. Nasty stuff. I spent about half my childhood about a block from Barksdale Blvd and Airline Dr. Dad retired from the PD there.

Sorry, man! :)

Love the enthusiasm 😂. Like everything else ford has said I will believe it when it happens.

Ha you're not wrong! It's either that or sitting too close to radars for too long. All that radiation can't be good lol
