I have a FORD Perf ProCal and have added their performance tune, and the upgraded steering rack as well, and did not notice any codes. I can take a look again. My bronco went back to them (Injen) to dyno tune and record at that time they didn't report anything to me. But now, I'm curious. If I've been driving around for 2+ years with a code and an unknown issue, I definitely haven't felt anything. Bronco makes boost quick, and smooth from idle to 100 MPH.
I have the ProCal as well. I didn't notice anything but just wanted to check for codes after installing yesterday.... Appreciate it (y)
~ I've also left a VM w/Injen to see what they say as well

I talked to Injen, they said I wouldn't have had this issue as mine is older than a '23. It's the 2023+ models that Ford made a change on, making the emission system more sensitive.

I just wanted to let everyone know currently I have been testing the knew style Injen CAI on my 23 badlands 2.7L.

We have all heard about the older design CAI throwing error codes on newer broncos. The new style CAI has some interior changes to the intake piping to hopefully stop the error codes.

First off I would like to thank Paul and his team at Injen for giving me the opportunity to test there new design intake for the 2.7 broncos for model years 23-24. I went down to there shop in Pomona, CA and the team went straight to work with the install which came out perfect.

Now for the Intake the intake looks amazing. Very high quality and perfect fitment, Looking like it was born to be In the bronco. The motor runs smooth and you can hear a little more turbo whistle, but other than that the car sounds stock. The intake seems to make the motor run smoother. And you can feel a little more power off the line at least that's what my butt Dyno it telling me. Currently I have put on around 1000 miles with no check engine light, no trouble starting, now ruff idling. So everything has been going great. I have been in contact with Paul updating him every 750 to 1000 miles with the good news having no issues.

I'll will keep the forum updated with any problems if any arise. With that said thank you guys again over at Injen for the opportunity to test out your product.

late to the party and just swapped from a K&N to this injen kit. Any issues with water? I ask as there’s no drain hole at all.

I guess you also need to remove half the system to change out a filter?

thx in advance!

I haven't had any problems with water worst case drill a hole at the bottom of your concerned, but yes to change the filter or clean it it's a pain.
