Hint for installation: before you put the adhesives down, place it in position and mark your placement with a washable marker. Peeling the cellophane covering off the adhensive strips was frustrating: I found using a razor to start a peel worked well. Then, when you have the adhesive strips in place. get two more hands to place it in its very permanent position.

I think it works, but I found driving across Missouri and Kansas on warm August nights it failed to deflect all the insects!

I love mine. In Austin, we have so many construction trucks constantly driving around that rocks/pebble/gravel hits are inevitable. I've taken a few direct hits to my windshield (thankfully no cracks thanks to DynoFlex film), but I think I've taken far less thanks to this thing. Plus it looks great - I couldn't imagine it without it on.

Does the Dynoflex film darken your windshield, make it harder to see out at night?

I bought the gloss black one, we’ve got an OB and I’m hoping for the same result, tie the grill into the hood, make it look seamless. Unfortunately I won’t be able to install for at least a month as I’m not with the vehicle right now. Would love to see pics if anyone’s got it installed on theirs!

Ford Hood Protector Aeroskin II Trail Armor Textured Black Bronco 2021-2023
I really dig it. It is a textured finish like the base grill, perfect match. Perfect fit about a 30 minute install with prep. The reason I got the deflector about 2 weeks ago super windy day a shingle flew off my hood and windshield. Thought this may help.

Can not recommend enough, had my last car 18 years and the front edge of the hood and around the windshield took a bit of damage. For now, I have protection on both areas

It's 100% clear like the others which are the same as these brands Exosheild and ClearPlex.
