Out of all the things I consider when buying a new vehicle the resale value has to be at the very end of the long list. Even if I did consider it the difference will be so small it still would not be incentive to wait longer to get one.

Personally, I am more worried that all ‘21s and ‘22s cars and trucks are going to be looked upon as COVID/supply chain de-speced lemons assembled by inexperienced workers driven to work too fast with any part that even barely passed the quality sniff test.
This. I wonder how much that will play in the future. I mean seriously- would a rational person but a normal car that has been sitting incomplete on an ice covered lot for 5 months?

But it’s not just the Bronco. This is a 2 year thing and I could see it weighing the market down the road.

Between a late 22 and an early 23, I would take the 23 mainly because any quality issues that can be updated/fixed on the new year.
