Interior lights issue

I have the Mabett LED Interior Dome Lights only...not the cargo light. Harness is connected to the cargo light however.

Love it...but today i get in and these lights would not turn off for several minutes driving away. I tried cycling the Interior light defeat button, cycling door locks, opening/closing the 2 doors i opened when i first got in.

Seems like they flicked off when the truck hit a bit of sunlight and the auto headlamps turned off.

1st issue i've had with them.

Ton of rain today, nothing leaked inside so not sure it could be a wiring issue...as i did have another gremlin hit me on something "aftermarket" later in the ride.

OEM lights behaved normal? Where do the Mabbets get triggered from? I assume trigger from OEM lights, but tap their main power elsewhere. If so, the Mabbet circuitry stuck on or wherever the lights trigger from was on. Pull that to see if they go out. I don’t know how they connect. But that’s where I would start.

The OEM lights behaved normal, and the Mabett's harness plugs into the cargo light above the backseat.


WHen i got home, i got out and locked the vehicle and they turned off as expected.

I’m on my second pair of Mabett lights and have had this issue with both. It’s isn’t very frequent with the set I have now. I think it’s just a quality thing you have to expect from retailers like Mabett.

Been through the same issue. Try cycling the dash lights down then up, works for me.

use the dimmer switches. when they wont turn off. a fee taps on the minus sign turns them off then right back up to 100% after. Its annoying they dont just work.

I do not have Mabett lights, but I do have the AIGMUX one

If someone turns that light on manually... it gets stuck on.

To turn it off, I have to turn off all the lights from the front upper console button (right forward button if I recall)- then turn off the AIXMUX light - then I can turn the front console master button back on to get automatic operation back.
