Hi there,

I have traded in my 2024 WT to 2023 Braptor 3months ago.

I really fell in love with 2023 Braptor, more power, more exhaust noise etc.

I found interior rattles come from either driver side of rear driver side top or passenger upper trim.. (I could not locate the where it is coming from)

Sounds like window rattles, but my windows are fully tight or comes from hard top areas (driver or behind driver side)

anyone experience this type of noise? I might take it into the dealer but braptor only has 650miles. :(

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Are the hard top latches loose or need adjusting? One simply way you could test it without doing much is trying to pull or push up slightly on the hard top and see if that makes a difference in the noise.

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

Usually it is all the plastic that lines the interior roll bar. I reduced the rattles by placing felt at each offending area.

Maybe it is.. When I push up the roll bars or struts below hard top, then noise seemed disappeared. would you happened to have pictures by any chance since I am no tech or mechanic person?

Thanks

Nope, sold that bronco. Went from 4 door to 2 door. The 2 door doesn’t have those issues.

I have also found pushing hard (or giving the trim a light "hit" with my fist) can sometimes solve the issue too, as it's trim clip just needs a little bit of a push in.

This truck is silent compared to the Bronco. It's amazing.

Just this week I took my 2024 Badlands Bronco into the dealership for a rattle in the back that I could not locate. I didn't have much hope, but I was at the end of my wits trying to isolate the noise.
They called me back a day later and said they found that some screw or plastic piece was installed wrong causing a rattle and they were repairing it under warranty.

I'd give it a shot with the dealership if I was you.

I just picked up a 23 Bronco Raptor, and the rattles are a real thing. Mind you, this one had 12k miles, but looked to be in great shape. I found one just behind my head in the cross bar that I will tackle next time I have the tops off. I think some felt or small foam weatherstripping may be tucked in places to stop the creaking rattle. The second, is the passenger door, which I beleive ist he window mechanism. So, I will remove door panel and check for anything loose, if no luck it goes to dealer.

BTW, so far this thing is amazing. The difference between this and Badlands (my prior 2) is noticable.

Greg :)

My Heritage limited has less than 1k miles and is currently at the dealership due to a rattle coming from the passenger area. They took out the seat, the carpet under the seat, and the passenger door and so far they can't find anything. It's been 2 weeks exactly since I dropped it off and so far they're still trying to locate the place of the rattle. They were kind enough to give me a loaner but I'm honestly starting to lose patience. Rattles on these Broncos are ridiculous

I know this is a long shot, but when i first picked up my BaseSquatch back in 2021 I had no rattles for the first week. After that, I had plenty. After finally losing my mind and smacking my trim around, I found the issue were the little accessory bolts along the roll bar where we'd normally expect to see grab handles (or where people install after-market grab handles).

Mine were all loose. Every single one. After tightening them all good and snug i haven't had rattle issues since (not counting my American Adventure Labs P.A.C.S. Drawer... That thing squeaks and shakes like all hell).

Good to know. I’m hoping the dealer figures it out. If not, then I’m going to be doing some trial and error on my own. Thanks for the advice!
