My wife’s phone is constantly disconnecting from our 23 raptor bronco. Not really any pattern to the problem mostly random times. Is there in update? Anyone else with this issue? Thanks for the help!!

Our 24 Badlands does the same thing. We were excited about finally getting vehicle with CarPlay. I consider myself to be a tech guy but it’s been disappointing so far. The navigation isn’t great either. My wife’s phone is constantly disconnecting from our 23 raptor bronco. Not really any pattern to the problem mostly random times. Is there in update? Hi Grant, If you’d like further assistance regarding the Sync concern, feel free to send us a private message with your VIN and local Ford dealer. Thank you!My wife’s phone is constantly disconnecting from our 23 raptor bronco. Not really any pattern to the problem mostly random times. Is there in update? Anyone else with this issue? Mine has connectivity issues a lot. It seems to happen when put it in drive before the connection happens (wirelessly). Sometimes I'll leave and it will show that it is connected and the progress bar is moving on Spotify, but nothing is actually playing.I've noticed similar issues with my 2022 Bronco recently. It randomly disconnects or freezes. The only way I have been able to 'fix' the problem is to stop and turn the vehicle off and then restart.
This seems to be a recent issue, it has generally been very reliable. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max version 17.7
Same here. This happens once in awhile. Also when driving something it just disconnects. Most of the time it reconnects right away. But if it doesn’t a full auto power down is required. The only time I have the issue (2022 Badlands/iPhone 15) is when I'm connected to CarPlay and leave the truck with my phone in hand to go back into the house or a store (with someone else in the vehicle, of course). The iPhone disconnects when I leave and when I jump back in an hit the road, it will not reconnect to Carplay unless I pull over, shut down the vehicle, and restart.
I had a similar issue with a new iPhone 16 Pro(iOS 18.0.1) and 23 Raptor. My fix was to delete the device and re-pair and it’s been rock solid since. Sometimes I do need to wait approx 5 to 10 seconds once I power up the vehicle and I don’t touch the phone until the CarPlay button appears on the screen. If I touch the phone before the CarPlay is enabled, it takes even longer…My wife’s phone is constantly disconnecting from our 23 raptor bronco. Mine does same. You can keep driving and do a hard reset by holding down power button on volume knob and the forward button.I've noticed similar issues with my 2022 Bronco recently.
