iPhone wireless charging

I looked quickly and didn’t see anything. Has apple and/or ford fixed the issues with wireless charging on the qi pad??

It is what it is. I look at mine as a, “At least I don’t lose power” charger. You might gain a percentage or two on a short trip.

I do not find even plug in charging on Fords (at least) works very well beyond as Mark said, "At least I don't lose power" chargers. My Fusion and my wife's Expedition are the same way. The Qi keeps the lights on but doesn't really "charge" per se, and the plug-in in my 2013 Fusion (no Qi back then) just barely keeps the lights on too.

Something about cars/trucks and charging phones just doesn't seem to work well. But, at least, the phone doesn't die. *shrugs*

Just took a 3 hour trip… phone was on wireless pad entire time and percentage went from 8 to 13% and was burning hot.

Wireless charging is always going to be slower than just plugging it in. If you want it to charge a bit quicker and don’t need to use the phone put it into airplane mode and it will charge faster but the wireless chargers aren’t intended to be a quick charge.
