Hey all,
Long time listener, first time caller. Just picked up my new 2 Door Badlands last week and getting into a few things with it.
I have the Capable front bumper, and had bought the Turn Offroad winch mount for it thinking it would just bolt on. Well after fighting with it all afternoon I gave up as I couldn't see any way to get it to work without some serious work with an angle grinder, which I wasn't too keen on doing with my new 50k rig.
So, I am now looking at the JCR Winch mount that they have that states it will work with the capable bumper. I haven't been able to find much on this aside from a few short YouTube videos so just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this setup and if it truly is a bolt on experience. I think I read that I would have to trim the plastic trim pieces where the bolts for the bumper attach to the frame, but aside from that is there no additional trimming or anything that needs to happen with the bumper to get it to work?
