I have an OBX on order with leather trimmed roast/black onyx. Not scheduled yet. Does this mean if/when mine goes into production it’ll be a black onyx all leather?
NO, the "Black Onyx" is the interior plastics, etc. You'll get the leather seating you ordered.

So they're not doing cloth any more for the '23 OBX? I ordered an OBX with Navy Pier Leather and just got my window sticker and it says "NO CHARGE" for the leather... are they just giving that upgrade for free now?
Yeah, there's something going on...when I ordered my OBX with Space Gray/Navy Leather seating, the BP had the Roast Onyx leather seats at no charge? I called my dealer and we walked through the BP together and even though Gray/Navy showed an upprice and the Roast/Onyx showed standard - the bottom line price come out the same...I was gong to switch if not...not sure why your window sticker would show "included", did your bottom line price change (decrease)?

So what's the stitching going to be on the base and BB then? BD is blue and BL is orange.

Ya my msrp is about $2k less than the sheet the dealer printed for me!

Ford is just using a surplus of parts inventory to cover the shortage (cloth/carpet). The stitching will remain the same as it was intended for the BD.

What about grab handle and chicklets, think they're gray now, will they switch over to match the BD? At that point BB and BD are basically the same animal minus rear locker, bash plates and grille, would be grille only with squatch right?

There was no mention of the overall interior changing so there should be no presumption that the Base/BB will receive the blue accent pieces on the grab handles and vents.

There was mention of the carpet being a constraint months ago where some had made the supposition that the headliner might be deleted with a credit given. That never came to fruition. But there obviously is a constraint on the carpet floor. The washout floors are much more expensive than the carpet so you know Ford isn't just being altruistic and throwing order holders a bone. They need to keep the line moving while knocking out the backlog of orders.

Now, for MY'24, no one knows what will be standard. It was speculated that the OBX cloth seats would be changed for the refresh and their current supplier exhausted the supply. So leather is forced on order holders. It may stay that way going forward. Some have surmised that the Base/BB may merge into one trim for MY'24. Overall, I think we'll see a change in style and consolidation on options. Before this announcement for MY'23.5, there was 5 different cloth seat options across standard trims. It is too much.

We need to see an updated copy of the build guide to see if they're annotating those changes on the Heritage or not. I can't see them going from the plaid cloth as it's part of the trim/package just like the white mod top but who knows. If they do switch to MGV wonder what color? The BD is black/gray and BL is all black ... I'd be fine if they went with a white for an even more heritage look!

@FordVideoGuy any word when they'll release the new order guide or can you give more info on how HEs are affected by this? Thanks!
They already did, @RagnarKon posted it the other day. Heritage Edition is plaid cloth seats.

Really, that would seem to indicate Ford made the Roast Leather standard on the OBX then? And I paid an additional $2K for the Space Gray leather! I believe your price fell but just doesn't make sense to me...what does make sense is that Ford stopped allowing cloth in the OBX so the leather interior is all you can get, hence the "Standard" label in the B&P.

The MGV and rubber floors were a big reason I moved up a Black Diamond from a Big Bend when I was initially configuring my Bronco. This is awesome for those who are still building/waiting for their Bronco, but I am a little bummed. Seems like the BD and BB are very similar now, minus the rock guards, diff, and the metal bash plates...

So my Big Bend is scheduled production week of 6/12 and my order now says neoprene vinyl seats. Changed from cloth without saying anything. I hope that the new vinyl is okay. Is it true it looks like leather?
Mine said the same I’m scheduled 5/29 but received window sticker and it still says cloth. So maybe it’s just the online system saying it.
