As we all know......the 24’ Braptor doesn’t have keypad entry as an option, but it’s available as an accessory. Make sure to select the $56 install at your dealer…..or risk them trying to charge a ton! My local was going to charge $300 something. Until i showed him the ford website that lists install (at your local dealer) for $56. I purchased it on my own so that i could use points and also so i could stick it exactly where i wanted it.

My dealer has really been struggling with this keypad sync. They didn't know that there are two nearly identical models and only one works with the Bronco Raptor. The keypad that works with "Remote Start" doesn't work with the MY24 Bronco Raptor. It will code into the ECU, but key presses are not recognized. I have a replacement that arrived today that should work.

Ford's naming of their "Remote Start" systems is confusing, at best. Remote Start with the app seems to be something different. I Googled it prior to purchase, but could not find any clarification.

I haven't received the final bill yet, but they have spent hours trying to get this working, when it should be a 10 minute ECU entry and 5 minute verification. Just no one recognized that the MY24 Bronco Raptor doesn't have Ford "Remote Start".

The keypad on my ‘24 is the ‘remote start’ version. It works perfectly. I ordered and mounted it, the Dealership enabled it in 10 minutes.....

Yeah, mine tried to charge me $200 for two hours labor to sync mine because the tech had never never done it before (like I’m going to pay to train their guy). I had paid the $56 install fee when I ordered it, which I reminded them of…

I installed one on a Raptor the other day. They use the exact same regular remote start keypad variation as every other bronco.

Am I missing something? Did they change something?

I'm very confused by the difficulty people are experiencing getting this done. It's like... the easiest thing a tech can do.

lol I have no idea. Everything worked normal for me, took no time at all 🤷‍♂️
Maybe they're just catching FDRS at a bad time. That is certainly common sometimes.

Shoot I should just start a Keypad install side hustle.

$20 per install. Takes 10 minutes. $960 / day. Sign me up!

Do you have the part number? My dealer seems to be misleading me due to their own lack of experience with this job.

Ah OK, I got KB3Z14A626A which didn't work. I guess that they mixed up not having remote start with having remote start. The B version is what they are going to try installing next week.

Both versions are shown as compatible on Ford's site, which is not accurate.

They are both compatible, the website is correct. Depends on if your Bronco has remote start or not.

I do not have remote start and needed to use KB3Z-14A626-A, which is the one you originally bought.

What is the definition of "Remote Start"? Is that on the key FOB or the FordPass app? How do you definitively know if you have it or not?

Oh actually that's a good question.

It's referring to the key fob.

All Bronco’s (except manual) have remote start capability from the ford pass app, but not all have it on the fob.

So in this case, like @RagnarKon mentioned, they’re referring to the remote start on the fob.
