Just received my new 2024 OBX SAS with dual roofs on Wed 4/10/24. Well on Friday 4/12/24 it rained and my MIC roof leaked all thruout my backseat. Apparently the seal between the back seat passenger side removeable panel and the fixed roof is the problem . I was told to bring the vehicle in on Monday and we'll look at it. I guess my question is has anyone had a leaky roof that the dealership fixed or is this going to be a long drawn out battle ????

If you use the search feature here ("roof leak") you'll find some other posts.

Hopefully the dealership has a quick solution to get you on your way.

Haven’t had a leaky roof fortunately but from what I’ve seen is that dealerships will honor the fix under warranty. Struggle is if they’re unable to get it fixed right. Some ppl had to go back to the dealer multiple times and their roof still leaks

There is a TSB for this. Explains to dealership how to test the rear and front seals. My 2022 had to have the rear seal replaced recently. They have to remove the top to replace the seal too cause it wraps under the top.

I have a 2-door with a leaking roof and the dealer tried fixing it twice with no success. Sent a pointed email to the service mgr last week and waiting for a response. I may have to switch dealers.

Dealership couldnt replicate the leak the first time I took it in. 2nd time around they found the TSB and followed the directions, confirmed the leak and replaced the seal.
Mine was leaking to where the backside of headlight switch would get wet and lights would come on all by themselves. Water puddled up on floor mat and under floor mat on drivers side.

Have a leaking 2 door roof as well but figured the easiest solution is to just leave a good soaking towel under trouble spot.

I have a 2021 2-door Black Diamond. My roof leaked through where the aux switches are. After two roofs and new seals, it stopped. My dealership said the factory missed installing some seals. \0/

@edzecc1 ha e a leak between the back seat pa el and clamshell. Leaves on the crossbar and down in cargo area. Dealership said they couldn’t replicate. Live in Southern California and doesn’t rain much. Well this past year I got a video of the water. Hope this helps with getting it addressed. Get video and pictures is my word of advice.

My 2-door roof leaked when I first got the Bronco. I opened it up and re-seated it and have not had an issue since - and have been through many auto car washes, rainstorms & snow. I will admit that I hear a lot of noise at speeds >40mh, which would seem to indicate that there may still be a concern, but I'm still good.

Joined the leaking roof club. I was already planning on having it in this week for 25k service and state inspection.

hard to get good pics of it but the roll bar in the back has standing water on it. After hurricane beryl noticed musty smell. Now have evidence where it’s leaking from at least.

Hi there. This leaking roof concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end. To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation".

Hey FORD. Send me your name so I can start a conversation. Because the dealer and the Ford Protect warranty refuses to cover the cost of fixing this stupid. I am pretty sure we paid extra for a hard top and we should expect that when it rains our belonging shouldnt get wet but it does and somehow that is on me? Oh by the way for everyone else on the thread. The dealership quoted me nearly 10k for the rear hard top and 250 per for the two weatherstrips that go on it. 2022 with the tell tale signs of poor quality manufacturing yet, its my problem. When you pay 65k for a suv it shouldn't leak and if it does Ford should stand behind what they sold me and fix it. You all know it is a problem, are you waiting for us to die off before you admit it like the VA did with Agent Orange? Seriously, that is what it feels like!!!
