Lightbar camera interference

Thanks to some brackets from SPV, I was able to install a 30inch lightbar on my modular bumper while retaining the push bar. Great for seeing those giant potholes in the Costco and Starbucks parking lots at night.

When using the 360 camera, part of the light bar shows up in the image. Fortunately, it doesn't trick the system into thinking you're going to bump into anything, but something to be aware of if you install a light bar.

I am wondering if it's because your mounts sit on top of the bullbar making the light sit up higher.

I dont have the oem bull bar but mounted a 30" single row light bar with mounts from 4x4truckleds.com and can't see mine in the 360 camera. I can see it in the front camera but doesn't effect my 360 view.

It very well could be. It sits about 1/4 of an inch higher than mounting directly to the bumper. Not enough that I would have thought would make a difference, but here we are. I'm sure single versus double row would also come into play depending on which model of light you choose.

That 1/4 inch my be just enough to make it into the 360 camera. By your picture it looks like it's just catching a little bit of the rear cooling fin.

But it's not messing with any of the sensors so that's a win and your truck looks great

Can you post a picture of how the SPV brackets mount up? I’ve got a turn offroad brush guard and want a bar like that

Those are it . KR Offroad offers a similar option that is a little cheaper. I did have to enlarge the lightbar holes on the SPV mounts to fit the lightbar bolts. Not a big deal if you have the tools. Every light bar is going to be slightly different in overall length and bolt size. Mine was almost 32.5 inches overall, and just barely fit.

I used the k and r from 4x4truckleds.com very solid mount my light bar was 32 and a heavy 16th went in with the bolts loose then torqued everything down im happy with it.

I’m about a half inch or so in front of the bumper so it may be less about height and more about how far forward the light is.

This is a curved bar from Ironman 4x4.

My lighted Bronco letters definitely affect the camera.
