Hi Folks,
I'm in the process of installing a Lock N Roll trailer hitch. I picked it up at their workshop here in Chicago this morning. They were really nice to let me stop by in person vs. shipping 50+ lbs from Wisconsin. So far I am very impressed by their product simply based on it being about twice as thick and heavy as I had expected.
Anyway, I'm using their #519 extended length height adjustment channel - the one used to get the receiver out beyond a spare tire. I'm trying to decide whether I should orient the adjustment channel up or down. If put in the "up" position my trailer - to my eye anyway - rides just a touch high. However, the departure angle is much better with this configuration. Alternatively, when the adjustment channel is put in the "down position," my trailer looks pretty straight and level - but gone is much of the departure angle.
What are your thoughts - Up or Down?
