Is there anything on the market that secures the cargo area when the top is off and doesn't have to be removed everytime the top goes on and off?

I did the EZ4x4 trunk and have been very happy with it. I like that It folds down flat when I need the extra space for large objects.

I also got the EZ4x4 trunk and am very happy with it. I take the top off frequently, and it's easy to put up when you want to secure things, and quick to put down when you need extra space. I find that I leave it up even with the top on most of the time just for the extra security of the items in the back.

I got the ford cargo enclosure with hinged top off FBMP for cheap. We try to go topless all summer long (Chicago). I like the lock ability but sad about loosing the "pass though" and large item capability. The fold down versions are great, but are too rich for me. I'd prob look for a used aftermarket one if I had to da again.

ok, after looking at the EZ trunk I would get that! and looks like on sale now. has anyone added tie downs to the top of it. I currently have tiedowns on the ford one that I use to strap the front panels down to.

Yes, is was a hard price pill to swallow but it is exactly what I was looking for. Zero fitment issues and all cargo space is still accessible.

I am also on the Canadian east coast, and with all this silly tariff wars between our countries it will probably cost even more for me, too bad because it is a great product

Nope, it folds up in place and you cannot access the "trunk" area by folding the seats down. There is a metal plate across the backs of the seats when its "up".
