Had a gnarly rattle near tailgate area.
Made my wife drive me around in the cargo compartment and found this dangling near the driver's tail light. It was swinging like a pendelum and making a hellacious noise on bumps or accel/decel.
The only thing I had done in the vicinity was the dealer had to put the trailer hitch adapter on since Ford apparently won't do that at the factory for some reason. I can't remember if this rattle started before or after that because I only had the bronco a few days before the hitch was installed. Is this loose harness something the dealer might've messed up related to the towing package?
This is where I could almost pull the harness out to, it was resting vertically like the tail of an animal hanging from the top and swinging like a pendelum just forward of the left(driver) tail light, about 12-15" behind where you see me pulling on it in these pictures.
? What does this harness go to? Can anyone ID it? I will go check the function of my tail/brake lights when I have a friend visit that can do it for me.
