So how many of you are having this problem that's driving me nuts? Those zone lights underneath the side mirrors are loose and frequently just fall out of their socket! It drives me crazy. There's nothing like driving home from work on the interstate and watching that little plastic light just fall out and flap in the wind hanging on by the wire!

Is this a common problem? How many of y'all have experienced this? Or did I just get a lucky Bronco? The driver's side mirror light falls out all the time. The passenger side one is just really loose. I see there's a clip on the side of the light but there's nothing in the socket to clip it to? I guess I could try glue or tape to hold it in but I'd rather not.

I've checked other Broncos side mirror lights and they are firmly in place... no wiggle or anything. Any suggestions or similar problems with these lights?

Can’t say I’ve ever seen this. Hard to tell from the pictures but is there any damage to the light itself or the mirror housing preventing it from staying clipped in? There’s got to be something wrong with either one causing it to be loose/fall out.

I've had mine pop out but only when I was changing to the Oracle mirror light caps. They've stayed seated after that.

Closeup zoom looks kinda like a gouge on the right, like someone put a screwdriver to twist and pop it out. Has someone tried to remove these, that you know of?
