I already have the Mabett rear cargo light installed…Do you need to replace the adhesive tape when you pull it off for the connections?
Was wondering the same ! Hopefully Mabett can confirm. Would be handy if it came with replacement strip for those of us who already installed the dome light if so.

Dang, installed IAG already and took up an aux switch to be able to turn it on. IAG‘smstill works great but would have preferred to keepmaux switch open

Got the mabett dome. The two work great together.

The messy install is what kept me from doing the IAG. I just did not trust myself with all the panel removals. This is so much simpler. Ordered. Thanks OP

I did but that’s not to bad to do. You’re actually better off putting the extra tape on top of what’s there. It will adhere much better.

As mentioned in the video. I remember the IAG lights and all its wiring and installed the Mabett ones. The mabett lights are all dark smoked and you have to look hard to even see them in the cab, they are just as bright and plus they all can be controlled via the map light switch.

Get some adhesive tape at your local parts store and have it on hand for other things in the future. Put the new tape on top of the tape that’s there now. It works even better that way.

Looks like you are sponsored by Mabett
Well he asked me to do an install video plus I do like his products and I have no issues with promoting him. I personally don’t care if anyone likes my Bronco. It’s mine 😉

Well dang, I have the IAG lights as well as the Mabett dome light, now I wish I'd waited a bit longer. Didn't know Mabett would be releasing these.

How was removing the dome light? Is it as difficult as the OEM?

No. Much easier. You will need to pull the two side tabs out again or even retrieve them in the plastic roof panel if they come off pulling the light down. Add some extra tape to what’s already there and it’s good.

If on. The fence between these and iag’s, I’d get these. I bought the iag, not impressed.

Thanks! For some reason the tape on mine never made contact so it has the slightest bit of play if I touch it. It sounds like an easy enough fix now.

Me as well. I totally removed the IAG lights. They were “ok” but not even in the same league as the Mabett set.

Ya just double it up and it will make contact. I always like to use 3-M Primer 94 for things with two way tape or at least rubbing alcohol to help secure the bond.
