After months of waiting for my order to be built finally was able to pick up my bronco, December 2021, right before they switched to my22 and I would have had to reorder a different color.

A little off track, but I wanted to reach out to Mabett with a suggestion. Previously a question was posed to offer "new products" requests, not long ago.

I'd like to ask for a simple, inexpensive solution, like maybe a basic black rubber plug -- to close the opening in the front frame rail on Sasquatch models after crash bars have been deleted.

Apologies if this hijacks the thread, but I reckoned Mabett might see this eventually.

Everyday is a great day with the Guzzler '22, that all started on day one when I remember I saw my first one when I was 12. I waited over 50 years, and finally got a new '22, in '23. My kids are adults so I can say this... In a lotta ways it feels the "favorite kid" I can admit. I nurture it, take care of it, accept it's flaws, try to improve it and know that it's ultimately ready, willing and able to embark on new adventures with me!

It was love at first sight

The top 2 shots were texts from the GM of the dealership as I was driving down to pick it up. It had just arrived on the lot the day before and they were prepping it and washing it for me.

The bottom 2 are the kids sitting in it for the 1st time (the pure joy on their faces) and when I finally had it home and parked in the driveway.

I started with a 2021 Bronco Outer Banks, a 2.3L with a soft top that was right at home along the shoreline. It was perfect for sunny beach cruises, but limited once the sand ended. Moving up to a 2022 Bronco Badlands with the 2.7L, Sasquatch package, front and rear lockers, and a hard top was an all around more capable vehicle. It gave gave me a solid foundation for building an overlanding rig that let me push into the mountains and more advanced trails, where my real Bronco adventures began.

We would certainly give this interior light set a good home in our new '24 Outer Banks.

When we picked the Bronco up, I couldn't believe how quick the 'delivery' was. Almost everything had been done online.
Weather was sunshine/blue skies and our 7 + hour ride home was very smooth. We were learning where things are as we drove!
After dark I discovered that the Bronco could really use more interior illumination.
We'll keep our fingers crossed.
