Video shows that they are white until the brake lights come on, then they turn red.
If thats the case, they would not be legal for use on the road.

It does not light up during daytime driving, only illuminating at night. Synchronized with the tail lights.

Here in Oregon, if the white lights are on all the time (not just for reverse-backup), they would be illegal. For red brake lights....good idea.
Hi sir, It only lights up when you turn on the high beam or headlights.

Link doesn't work. I searched on Amazon and found it, so here it is for those who want it:

Amazon.com: Mabett Window Glass Hinge Cover with LED Lights for Ford Bronco 2021 2022 2023 Rear Window Lights Bronco Accessories(Not for Soft Top) : Automotive

To me, the functionality doesn't make sense. It's white while you're driving and red when in reverse? That's backwards. These would actually be super cool if they were just a super bright yellow/amber so they could only be used for chase lights at the flip of a switch.
Yes, flashing ambers for chase lights... thats the move I want too!

So what you are saying is when the headlights are on they are white, tap the brakes and they turn to red? I think you are still going to have a problem with some states having white lights in the rear. They should be red when the lights are on, brighter red when you hit the brakes and white for reverse. That would mimic the taillights. I like the concept of the lights very much but not so sure about the execution. I have Mabett's trailsight lights which are great.

I think what you're saying is that they are white with the running lights and then red with the brake lights.

This is still illegal. Change the white to amber and you will be good to go.

Here in the USA you cannot (in most States) have what they call a "white light to the rear". So if you turned on your headlights at night, this light would come on and it would be a ticket-able violation. The only exception is a dim license plate light and a backup light which only works when in reverse.

At night they would still be illegal here in most US States.

So basically Mabett we are saying that we like the product but it is illegal in most (if not all) US states so you will need to modify the product. White should only be used for reverse.

Coming around a curve or cresting a hill there's nothing like seeing white reverse lights in front of you as you slam on the brakes ! lol
