Purchased and will be attempting to install onto a Capable Bumper as your v1 design would fit and this appears to mount in the exact same way. Going to run a Badland Apex 12k on it

This is a sweet deal and I'm ready to pull the trigger...but the red tow hooks won't work with velocity blue. Any way to remove them and adapt Netgear shackles to the mount?

The winch mount arrived considerably earlier than expected, exciting!

Upon closer inspection, it looks like someone either dropped the box or forced it to meet its maker, likely by means of a forklift... It appears they then opened the box, dug through it, tore open some of the packages, then very sloppily taped some of them back together, threw it all back in the box, taped three separate holes on the outside of the box, and then called it good.

I'm not sure why they felt like this was acceptable at all because the instructions are completely mangled!

After inspecting the items in the box, most of the packaging is damaged. Taking items out of packaging starts to reveal damage to seemingly every single piece of this winch mount. Oh, and it looks like the plate for the fairlead may be bent too

I think the only items undamaged are the bolts/nuts and the red plates - Amazon/FedEx had it out for this particular box

Besides all the damage and disappointment, the mount itself looks stout and doesn't look half bad resting on the edge of the capable bumper.

Still hoping mine shows up. I paid extra for 2day shipping and my package has already been delayed twice. FedEx currently shows it was sent back for inspection so I assume it was damaged somewhere along the way.

I have the winch mount and winch installed and am just now getting around to update the forum on the process. Overall, the installation on a Capable Bumper is nearly identical to that of the Modular Bumper - you will have to trim off a bit of the plastic cover that goes around the mounting brackets, but that's no big deal

You don't NEED to remove the grille or headlight to run the wiring for the winch, but it is far easier without them in the way

We did have to pop the valence panel and the drivers-side fender flare to be able to disconnect and reconnect the wiring harness for the fog lights

BUT, the winch now ships with a lot more packaging material to protect it during shipping.
