Just got back from a trip to Colorado. Heard this was a good off-road trail so I gave it a shot. We had a total of 4 on this adventure so the packing was tight for a sleep over in the Great Sand Dunes National Preserve.
The diversity of the trail was pretty cool. We started on the East side and worked our way to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. 1st part was rocky, middle had a bunch of stream crossings and it ended in some sand driving. Bronco did great. Perfect trail for a person somewhat new to off-roading. You are also driving through some beautiful mountain country. I made a video of my journey to hopefully give you an idea of what it is like. This was a late summer trip. I heard spring can be a much different experience with possible high water and mud. I'll save that for the more experienced in the bunch.
