Moab itself is only about a 20 minute drive from Red Cliffs. Quite a few hotels, restaurants, and touristy type stuff. I ended up using some of my IHG rewards points and getting a free room for the trip at the Holiday Inn in Moab.Looks a ton of fun. I was looking last night at this event. Question... Is the linked red cliffs lodge the only place to stay if you are attending? Not showing any availability on the dates I’d like.

As others have said, Moab is not far. On the dates I'm looking, Red Cliffs' rates are crazy expensive. The Adventure Inn in Moab is a great little motor court style motel. I'll likely stay there if I can make it out.Looks a ton of fun. I was looking last night at this event. Question... Is the linked red cliffs lodge the only place to stay if you are attending? LOL - I was in your group. I know this because my butt is in one of your photos.I was in the other group. We had a stellar time. Beautiful location and easy entrance. Great walk through of all the features.Approximately 8 hours of steering wheel time. Variety of topography included.
After dinner last night, I trekked back north to Draper because i'm prepping for my camping trip to Buena Vista for Super Celebration West. One of the guides at the Off Roadeo is going to be there with his group and I'm definitely looking for him to catch up while out there.
That was the big thing - I had the chance to make some new friends and experience a new trail with them!
