B&O with sub.

Just installed the mobridge. After, all audio is working as expected except for the subwoofer. I replaced the stock subwoofer with a kicker 8" but kept the stock subwoofer enclosure and wiring.

I'm not getting any audio to the sub.

Any ideas?

Did you get the adapter so you could plug into the subwoofer wiring toward the rear of the hatch? The sub is separate from all the other harnesses.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to, so I guess not? There’s no reference in the instructions.

I’m also now noticing that the navigation prompts lower the sound but don’t say anything.

and I think the backup indicator sounds are different now although I’m not 100% on that.

Yeah no worries! The mobridge was a great install. It does take some tweaking though. There was also a few things that weren’t very clear that I had to figure out. I’m still more than blown away by how good it is, and also the overall improvements it’s made. My bronco is now 10/10 where I want it.

Shoot me a PM with your number. We will setup sometime today and get it knocked out brother!

One thing i learned was the navigation is on its own volume setting. Hack I used to adjust because I didn't know any better -- when the navigation was saying something I turned the volume up at the same time to where I wanted it to be. It took a couple of tries but I got it.

thanks I’ll try this again. I’m using CarPlay, I think google maps has an option to playback audio to set the volume.

appreciate the offer. It might be a week as my availability is tight. Is it just a matter of setting the correct sub output in the software? I’d assume the stock wiring would work out of the box.

Yeah I’m available brother if you don’t figure it it by then! Just let me know.

If you’re using the stock wiring might depend how you have the subwoofer wires coming off the mobridge amp. They cross on the way into the subwoofer if you’re using the stock plug/harness on the subwoofer enclosure.

What ohm (2 or 4) is your replacement sub? Also how did you wire the sub inside the enclosure/as well as to the harness on the outside from the mobridge amp?

Sorry for the delayed response. On the new harnesses we no longer use the factory sub wiring as it caused too many issues. There is 2 pairs of pink and silver wire hanging off the harness, this is your subwoofer wires. Join the pinks together that is your positive and join the pink and silvers together that is your negative. The sub will be on by default in the DSP

thanks. You may want to update the instructions. Also the printed wiring diagram has a typo where it references the rca pre-out.

The install guide does need an update. There should have been a piece of paper in the box that states the colour wire for each output, it should have sub as pink and pink/silver

Having a problem with my sub as well and hoping for some help. The Mobridge install went smoothly, tested it out with the stock sub and it worked fine. Installed the Stinger/ audio control tailgate sub and connected the speaker wire to the sub output wires clipped before the green (female) OEM connector, positives and negatives connected via wago connectors. Now no sound from the new sub. Before I go checking the wiring, is there any reason why this setup would not work?
