Most Recommended Rock Slide/Tube Steps?

So I have the factory installed steps and I'm not tall by any means, but it's awkward getting into the truck...is this norm? I feel as if I need to v my body in with the current setup, so maybe dropping them or getting a lower step is ideal. I came from an f150 and it was just fall into the truck, this one, I have to crouch a little as does my wife and we are shorties, 5'8" and 5'4"

With that, any recommendations or ideas for existing or new step bars
