Hello can anyone tell me if I need to change the rubber bump stops when SAS’ing a Badlands non sas on the tailgate for the spare tire. I changed the brake light mount that I got from a Wildtrak sas when I bought the wheels and tires. After mounting them on the spare tire mount it makes a hell of a rubbing noise on the tailgate. Wondering if bump stops on tailgate need to be changed. Thanks.

I have a 22 OBX non SAS that I installed new wheels +12 offset and a slightly larger 265 tire. Same issue with squeaky tail gate as you. I noticed I had about a 1 inch gap from back of tire to the rubber mounts. I found some round rubber furniture pads black with self stick adhesives on them and fit 2 on top of each other to close the gap. They stick wonderfully to the rubber mount as the tire has some pressure on them as well as the adhesive. Worked perfectly and no more squeaky tailgate. Cheap and easy fix.
