Has anyone mounted a dunes flag to their capable bumper yet, or found an easy solution to mounting one on the front of the vehicle?

There are plenty of options I have seen for the modular bumper, but I’ve never paid too much attention as I use the trail sight mount from Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard. If you search dune flag all kinds of threads should come up.

I had the modular bumper on my last Bronco, that was easy to mount one to. I’m regretting the capable bumper already, I’ll figure something out. I’m not sold on mounting it to the front sites/tie downs.

Ah...sorry, kind of early. Totally mixed up mod and capable there.

Not sure if you could get this to work somehow on the moveable attachment points or without drilling:

There's quite a bit of threads about that here. Search around and I'm sure you'll find one.

So we had momentary panic at 9:00 pm on Friday night when we realized that we hadn’t though about how we were going to mount a flag and we were heading out at 7:00 am Saturday. I did a quick search and didn’t find anything so this was what we came up with. Removed the plastic trim piece around the shackle and used one of the shackle bracket bolts to attach a bracket for the flag. It worked out well.

Good idea, I like that better than mounting it to the hood tie downs. The cover is easy enough to take on and off or you could trim the plastic to allow for a bracket.

It worked out well. We don’t go out that often where we need a flag so we will probably just pop the cover off when needed but it would be easy to trim if you wanted the mount to be there and not deal with taking the cover on and off.

Is it under the 21-22 broncos? Nothing comes up.
