Apparently this is a mullet. I actually think this looks pretty cool. Mullets were already back! They are just in disguise now haha.

Mullets crack me up...when I was in Oklahoma I saw an entire family, daughter, son, father and mother all with long matching mullets. Nothing funnier than a full on mullet....especially if one doesn’t realize he has one. #straightfromthetrailer

Guess I got lucky. I haven't cut my hair since March and now it's as long as I had it in the 8th grade (many moons ago).....BTW, that was the first year my dad let me grow it out.....and I didn't have to drop the quarter on my bed any more either.
Now I have to wear a bandanna doing the yard work....flash back to the late 70's. I guess it is more of a sweep to one side versus the uniform and direct comb back over the dome and I'll always refuse to shave the sides to avoid the mullet appearance.

I rocked a metal mullet in the 80s. Until I shaved my head. Then let it grow back to the middle of my back one length and shaved it again when I had shoulder surgery.
