Why do you need more than 4 cup holders? There is the two in the front in the center. The 4 door has two in the middle drop down for the back. And the 2 door has one on each side of the exterior panels in the back.
lots of reasons:
We are a family of 5
The 4 door only has 2 cup holders (not 4) with MGV interior.
Even if the 4 door had 4 cup holders, with a family of 5, a kid would be sitting in the seat with the pull down.

having said that, we aresolving this with caribeaners and water bottles attached to the Molle panel.

Since I ordered a 4-door OJWhite Badlands, I learned from this forum that my rig would have no rear area cupholders. However, once I discovered the front seats have a Molle panel on the back, I have engineered my own cupholder solution!

I found a Molle cupholder online that fits the Bronco Molle panel, and I measured the functional cupholder in my Toyota (3.25 in diameter, 3.25 in depth) and purchased aPVC segment from Home Depot to sit in the Molle piece (to support drive thru cups besides water bottles).

I’ll probably spray paint the PVC in either Antimatter Blue or Cyber Orange to match the Badlands stitching. The Molle pieces cost about $15 each, and the PVC was $1.65 each. As I won’t be able to test this until after I get my Bronc, please stay tuned for my field test results...
...anything to pass the time, #amirite? Next Bronco project: crocheted Bronco throw pillows in Cactus Gray
Where you able to test these out? I just received my BL Bronco on Tuesday, and I am looking got something to use a a cup holder. I can use a carabiner with a hydro flask but what about cups from a fast food restaurant.

So… if you carefully and completely thread everything through, it is quite sturdy, and I haven’t yet tried a fast food cup

well, now you got me curious, so I took some pictures of my set up in real life, and filled a 20 ounce yeti mug with water.

The rig is plenty sturdy to support the cup. As you may see from the picture, there is some pressure at the top of the cup, due to the angle the back of the seat. As such, I guess that a fast food cup larger than 16 ounces would not work.

The limitation isn’t the capacity of the holder, but the angle of the seat back, and the pressure it would put on a disposable cup.

thanks for bringing this back to my attention! In the last month since I got delivery of my Badlands, I have not had the chance to test out my cup holder, other than to install it.
