This fell out of the tailgate area of my Bronco Big Bend while removing some large stuff from the rear. No idea where it’s supposed to go. Thanks.

It’s the rod that holds up the back of the soft top when you need extra room to load/unload stuff. It’s on the left side facing the rear door. I put on the strut assist kit in place of the rod and mine is in a box now.

Looks like the prop rod to the soft top. It goes on the bottom edge of the back window.

Get a pair of gas struts and lose the prop bar. Better yet-keep the bar in case (when) the gas strut fails. Life is easier if you don’t have to hold up the top with one hand and wrestle the support bar with the other. Same goes for the hood.
