New Bronco Big Bend 2doors Check engine and 4wd fault

Just got my bronco today

Drove for about 80 km then I got the 4wd fault then a check engine a few miles after. I have the 2.3l. I don't know what to think the truck is brand new and failing.?

Seema it's the turbo overflow vent.. they will chane it tomorrow and hopefully I'll be on my way.. we'll have 2 feet of anow tomorrow night

Mine did the same thing @ 60 miles on the clock as I drove the 110 miles home after picking it up.

Might need a new battery. I’ve seen that happen on other fords with a battery that needs replacing. The Broncos have been sitting for a bit on ice/dirt mtn

Yep, wrench and SES with no cruise control. Took 2 weeks to get in to service to diagnose it, then 3 to get the turbo. I had 1700 miles on it before it got fixed.

It’s possible and hope that is the problem so it can be fixed ASAP for you.

So I got back the truck 40 miles later the wrench appeared again. Went back to ford the senior mechanic took a look and played with the control arm of the turbo exhaust vent.. he found it hard to move, so he played with it until it was easy to move.. Problem solved. Will see if the problem reoccurs.
