Hey Bronco fans,
Heres my journey to date.
Ive been following the Bonco rumor for ever. Renditions or what it would look like, like a lot of you. in 2020, i had to replace my aging F-150 because the $$$$ off on a new 2020 was too good to pass up. I got lucky before the market went crazy. Now my wife, wasnt ready to commit to a new Bronco commitment to give up her 09 Jeep Wrangle(r Sahara 2 door or her 2010 Mustang GT Premium. I dont blame her at all given the questionable times. We were talking with a dealer about ordering and the tme it would take. we werent very sure how things would play out or how the new Bronco would be. So, advance a year, and my wife comes home from work, driving her Mustang GT (Black with a wide White stripe down the middle) , manual by the way, and says, after renting a Bronco on Turo in Arizona, she was ready to give up her Jeep and Mustang for a Bronco. After months of internet searching, i was starting to realize that the on line, WE HAVE BRONCO FOR SALE seemed to be click bait. No one had one. i was wiling to go anywhere in the counrty to buy one. NO ONE had one on their lot that advertised that they did. But i kept checking on line. Now, I had a 74 Bronco. YES kicking my butt for selling it, and my 68 GTO as well. BUT i was a Ford man because my dad was. for good reason, Ford was better. Then one day I got a hit on my internet search that Rydell Ford in Iowa had a Bronco in my price range. I called expecting to hear, No we dont have one, But to my surprise they said they had a new one with 7 miles on it. They asked if i wanted to take it for a test drive and I said yes! My wife and I showed up and it was sitting out front. Cactus Gray, Big Bend with the equipment group 222A, whih is, big bend series, mid package dual zone electric climate eretcontrol, heated seats, power outlet, remote start, sync4 w/enhncd voice recog, ford co-pilot 360. optional, 17 gray-pntd alum wheels, p255/75r17 tires (32") 3.73 rear axel open diff, soft top, front axel open diff, front license bracket. Sticker, $42515.00. They did add $1000 to sticker, cause BRONCO. LOL. We drove it and said yup we'll take it. We traded the Jeep and Mustang and got a fair price on both. Wrote a check for half the sticker and drove her home.
