If I change out my plastic bumper for either a capable or modular bumper do I need to get the collision/airbag sensor reprogrammed for the new bumper?

Yes and no....... It takes about 5 minutes to swap bumpers (all three), and most never do the programing, however I believe the Mod bumper actually has different programming.
-Edit ..... The plastic bumper hooks have to be cut off (2 minute job with a sawzall), or swapped out, the capable is a simple swap.
