After contemplating it for a while and test driving several different models/versions of the Bronco I found the one i wanted yesterday. I went up to test drive a 2 door Badlands non-SAS in Velocity Blue. I honestly wasn't all that jazzed about it but as I was pulling in from the test drive I saw a 4 door Badlands SAS in Velocity Blue and with the painted roof. I got the keys to test drive that one, and made the decision to buy it an hour later. Got about 7500 dollars off because it was just made part of the dealers loaner program but only had ~90miles on it. The dealer also gave me a good price for the BS Badlands I had.

First thing I did yesterday morning was take it to a local trailhead so I could take pictures of the mountains and it in front of the mountains.

The 2 door crowd will never accept you, but that's okay because the minivans (4 doors) will gladly take you!
Welcome to the club, and enjoy your big blue bus!

Feeling a little picked on are you??? LOL... I accept you and I have a two door. I think it is all done in fun! 2 door, 4 door... they are all Broncos... besides... Mike is coming from a sport... I think he can handle a little ribbing.

Thanks everyone. I can take a ribbing. I chose what i wanted based on my individual constraints. I really like the 2door but I needed the 4 door. Equitable compromise.

Besides it looks really great at sunrise

One observation after hooning the Bronco (i haven't named it yet) around for a few days. Coming from a Bronco Sport the big bronco is significantly less "creaky". The Sport was actually quite a decent car but the interior felt far cheaper more flimsily put together. It also had more rattles that the big bronco even factoring in my hardtop.
